Day Three

It was my Freshman year in college at LBC and I was playing outside hitter on the volleyball team. Summer pre-season work-outs were very difficult, lots of running! My shins paid the price for all of the running. Eventually I was seeing the trainer daily, icing as frequently as possible and trying not to walk around after practices and just rest as much as possible. I was getting wrapped by the trainer every practice. Eventually, the pain became so severe I barely even wanted to walk.

At the time I was attending an evangelical church in Ephrata and they had a service that was coming up, dedicated to healing, prayer and freedom! I went-EXPECTANT! I believed God for a physical healing. I remember at one point the speaker said something like, "anyone who needs a healing, raise your hands to heaven and receive God's healing!" So I did, I prayed and trusted and I DID receive healing! Immediately I felt the pain removed and I walked around without even a twinge of remnant pain!

And...NOT ONE TIME since this healing have I ever had another shin splint in all my life... Not in all my half marathon training, running for fun, or anything.

God of miraculous healing! God of power! God of love! God of kindness!

  3. Wow Sandy, yes that was how I felt too. It hurt to even walk! God is so gracious to have completely healed me and I am so grateful that He shows Himself both ABLE and WILLING! He is so loving!
